Connect

Design Insight

Our Connect activity areas are intended to foster collaboration in private or semi-private spaces. Creating defined workspaces in easily accessible areas, they encourage team productivity and meaningful, human-centric connections.

Entrance and Hospitality

Upon entering our San Francisco office, visitors are welcomed by the handmade logoed rope art byAntlreCreative. Inspired by a rope ladder one might use to enter a treehouse, this piece informs the materials, textures and shapes seen throughout the space.

Embracing the entire front area as hospitality, we kept the reception area approachable yet elegant. Café amenities and nearby seating are easily accessible to visitors, encouraging a welcoming experience. A separate staff café remains hidden, behind and off of the main path of circulation.

Obeya
Collaboration Area

Akin to a front porch, the OFS Obeya lives just beyond our entry area. Functioning as semi-private work or meeting areas, it creates defined and separate spaces while carrying power from the integrated architectural columns.

Obeya’s central location sits on a secondary path of circulation, feeling secluded yet accessible. Half of the slatted wood baffles that line the top of Obeya were removed, embracing natural lighting effects and a more open design.

Providing both Hideaway and Connect activity settings, it was important that Obeya captured each posture and working style, including a bar suitable for perching, a more enclosed lounge area, and a small meeting area.

Oak
Conference Room

Our main meeting room is dedicated to the Oak tree, symbolizing its strength, durability and diversity. Neighboring Hospitality, Oak serves as a private and easily accessible room to welcome guests.

Defined by cool and nurturing colors and textures, Oak features carpet tiles by Shaw that seamlessly carry into a watercolor wall covering by Murals. Corral’s custom banquettes are generous while supporting a working posture with laptop tables.

In line with our organic design intent, power sources remain hidden underneath HBF’s Oval Harmoni Table. The tinted glass wall offers further shade and privacy to the area with the option to open fully, connecting Oak to our material library.

Huddle Rooms

Like forts within a treehouse, our Huddle Rooms are enclosed areas that can be tailored to each individual’s needs. Offering all the aspects of a private meeting or heads down space, these capsules offer privacy and create defined spaces with furniture rather than walls.
